1965 Corvair Corsa 180 HP Turbocharged. I bought this car a year and half ago from a towing company, the story was that the owner had taken the car to a shop to have the engine rebuilt and didn't have the money to pay for it. So the repair shop put a lein on it and became the new owner. The repair shop then sold it to the towing company and they sold it to me. Pro's, The engine has been rebuilt and runs good. I put new tires on it with late model S-10 wheels with correct lug nuts and covers. The car has solid floorsand the trans and brakes work good. Con's, Needs new trunk floor due to rust and the bottom portion of the fenders and quarters. Bumpers are corroded and the rear bumper was cut to install a trailer hitch. The front valence from the bumper down needs to be replaced. This is the only body panel that you can't get new from clarks. I have two new doors that are in very good condition that will go with it. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt, I put a kit in it but the trottle shaft is loose and it leaks air and leans out. It also needs an exhaust crossover pipe. The good news is that I have a new exhaust system from clarks that has yet to be installed. Speedometer cable is broke but I have a new one from clarks also that needs to be installed. New AC Delco battery. I will be listing the vin number shortly, I forgot to write it down when I took the pictures. Vehicle is located in Salt Lake City UT. because I work down there during the week. I would strongly recomend that you plan on trailering the car home, because of the exhaust and carb. I have over 3500.00 invested and the 2000.00 start price is fair for what you are getting.
