Up for sale is a 1985 Mercedes Benz 300 Turbo Diesel Coupe with 139,000 miles. 1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous 123 series coupe. They are known to be among the most reliable and enduring cars Mercedes produced. This car is finished in black over tan leather, which is a highly desirable color combination. The interior is still in great condition, with no rips or tears in the seats. The dashboard and wood are in great condition. The paint is good and the engine has lots of power on the freeway and in town, a surprising amount if you’re familiar with diesel engines. The car has not been converted to biodiesel, but could be. It has been well maintained, and a full service was just completed by the last owner, including valve adjustment, fluid and filter changes and new motor mounts. The battery is new and the tires have less than 5K miles on them. There are lots of pictures here, but if you have questions, I will try to answer promptly.
