Up for auction is a 1971 Dodge Challenger Project Car, this auction is for the BODY ONLY, no engine or trans. Original 318 Small Block with 3 Speed Transmission. Original rare, Sassy Grass Green exterior with Salt & Pepper Interior. Perfect Hemi or Six Pack R/T Clone. Even drop in a 340 4 Speed and have a killer small block R/T. Rear frame rails and trunk pan appear to be good. Front floor pan, torsion bar mounts frame section need replacement or repair. Many restoration companies have new sheet metal available. Engine compartment good, especially where the hood hinge brackets mount. A commonly rusted area in these cars. The good thing about Challengers is the wide selection of restoration sheet metal. An easy fix for the right person. Most popular with enthusiats, restorers, and collectors. A high demand vehicle, especially with 1970 -71 being the best years for this model. Plates on this car are from 1981, probably the last time it was driven. Sorry but no fender tag or build sheet. Sold As IS with a clear title. Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up.
