One repaint only since new, just completed, quality job, color sanded and polished to a mirror finish. No accidents ever, all-original metal, no rust ever. Pop-top canvas and interior all original and in nearly perfect condition. Engine freshly rebuilt with less than 1000 miles. Runs very strong. An earlier Bus with an automatic transmission would be underpowered, but this fuel-injected model pulls hills without a problem. Cruises on the freeway nicely. When you arrive at your camping destination, you have everything you need for surprising comfort: stand-up kitchen for 6' plus residents, heater, large removable table, stove, water and gas, refrig, two large beds, etc. This is not a completely restored Westy, it is a near-mint original one with a fresh engine and fresh quality paint job.
