1940 Ford Hot Rod Rat Rod Flat Head Deluxe Coupe Project I am selling another project for my deceased friends widow. I have not done any work on this car other than rounding up all of the parts that he collected for it. To the best of my knowledge, the motor is fresh, Offenhauser three duece manifold with only one carb on it for starting and two more with new kits included but not installed, Champion cast iron high performance heads, new headers, new cutouts for exhaust system but no exhaust installed, radiator used but reconditioned, new top chrome radiator tubes, top loader three speed transmission, installed some new parts on brake system but not sure exactly what, original front and rear suspension, new grill center, good grill outer, excellent deluxe hood sand blasted not primed, useable front inner fenders and cross mount, new grill cap, front fenders have good lines but have rust at running board mount, including two extra front fenders that are good for patch repairs to the front fenders, rear fenders good but need some attention, running boards need to be sandblasted before rubber pads go on, firewall has not been cut, deluxe dash and glove box door, reconditioned gauge cluster, only found one deluxe ashtray, 1939 Ford inner door trim, skins of doors in good condition, bottom of drivers door needs a patch panel, bottom of passenger door needs small repair, floor pans have been replaced at some time in the past, good bench seat needs recovering, have all front and rear bumper brackets in very good shape, license plate mount, vent lid and control arms, good original standard garnish and glass lense for tail lights, new gas tank, aluminum fender skirts in pretty good condition, have original steel wheels and outer beauty rings only that also go with car, frame in good condition, drip rail rusted out in a small area on passenger side, hinges on driver door need replaced. I tried to show pictures of everything. Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability. As is where is. No warranties expressed or implied. For sale locally as well. I did however put a coat of primer on the outside only as there were quite a few places where there was no primer and I wanted to keep it from building up with excess surface rust.
