Vehicle Detail

Description Highlights of ’59 Buick Invicta Unrestored original Texas car with full history and documentation available Winner of BCA archival award Ps, Pb, Factory Air, Dual Exhaust, Dynaflow automatic transmission Original drive-train w/ 401 cu. in., 325 hp., nailhead engine and 445 ft. lbs. torque Car starts and drives beautifully with only 31,000 miles on the clock Lights, turn signals, horn, radio (tube-type), most gauges (except as listed below), dome and dash lights, brake lights, etc all work nicely. Car runs and drives smoothly and powerfully as you would expect. Trunk matting, spare tire, and jack are all present and complete. Car cover included 1 repaint years ago Original interior upholstery Correct whitewall, low mileage tires in excellent condition 3 owner car Lived the majority of its life in Texas Excellent driver quality car Rust on the underside is limited to light surface rust only. No rot or rust-through or anything like that. For sale due to death of owner I, along with a friend are selling this beautiful collectable car on behalf of the widow of the man who owned this car. We invite you to come and see and drive it in Minneapolis, Mn. I think a fair description of the quality of the car is that it’s a 10 footer. (It looks perfect from 10 feet away.) It has a few small dents, and minor scratches as you would expect on a well cared for car that is over 50 years old and un-restored. This is a good, dependable, solid driver that wouldn’t require a lot to get it to award winning #1 condition, or keep it as is and drive it everywhere and enjoy the many thumbs up you get with this awesome finned car. You’ll be the only one at the car show with this unusual and rare car! The owner was the current director of the local Buick club and kept this car in the best of care. Negatives of this car: Speedometer cable broke 2 weeks ago. A new one is included with the car, but needs installation. · Gas gauge doesn’t work · Air conditioner needs a recharge, however it needs R-12 Freon · The trans drips occasionally as is typical of these cars · Driver and passenger windows roll crooked and could use some attention Please call with questions to Randy, 612-759-8790, or Rollie, 952-201-4392 The reserve is set at a very reasonable “priced to sell” price. Just remember, if you bid, you are expected to follow through!
