Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my Veggie Truck. This is a 2000 Model year GMC 3/4 Ton Pickup with the 6.5L Diesel Engine. I have had it for 2 years now and it has been a great truck. Unfortunately it is only a 2WD which is the reason I am selling it. It starts right up every morning and I have been driving it all winter long. If you are looking for a truck for towing or hauling any kind of load this is a perfect truck. Also with the Veg Kit in it you can really save a lot of money if you do a lot of driving. Simply run on FREE waste vegetable oil on all those long trips. In the past 2 years this truck has paid for itself in just fuel savings alone. Here are some of the things I can tell you about it: - Pretty decent tires all around. - 142,000 miles. - Extended Cab, some rips in the drivers seat and overall the interior shows some wear. - Updated remote PMD kit was installed in December ($700). - Around $300 in front break work done in November. - New starter in August 2009 ($300). - The Veg Kit was installed when I first got the truck ($1600). It is a 2 tank system with control on the dash. Works very well. - The body is showing some rust on the rocker panels and the tailgate is a little banged up, but overall the body is in pretty good shape. - Inspected. - Full 8 foot bed, toolbox included (also the location of the Veggie Tank). Overall it is a good truck. I have some pretty good money into it and with the money I save with the Veg kit I really have no problems continuing driving it, which is why I have a reserve on it. That being said, I still would like a 4WD so I would prefer to sell it. It would really make someone a nice work truck and save you money at the same time. I tried to include everything I could think of but please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. As far as payment and pick up I would like a $300 payment within 48 hours of the end of the auction and full payment within 1 week. As for pick up the same time frame would be nice but not a big deal if you need more time. I am still driving the truck so I am pretty flexible with delivering it. I can drive it to your location within a reasonable distance or for a per mile fee for farther distances. Those details can be worked out as needed. Thanks, Mark
