1963 Corvette Convertible, let me start out by saying that as you see the car, is just as i pulled it out of a Garage here in my town, where it has been sitting since 1967. I got the car from the second owner, who bought the car in early 1967, when it was all original and untouched, within 6 months of buying the car he got in a minor wreck where the car was damaged on the front end, he then took the car and put it in the garage with the intentions of fixing the car. The front end that you see on the car was given to him by a friend for free so he started to put it on. The owner at the time never got around to finishing the car and the car has been sitting in that garage ever since. The second owner died about two months ago, and his wife sold me the car. She stated that about ever two months or so he would go out to the garage and crank the car and let it run for a little bit, but i have yet to try and crank the motor myself. What you see in the pictures is just what i got, their are several things that is missing off the car. I will say that the body on the car will need some work, as you can see in the pictures the car will need a front cap, the past owner also cut out the front fender scopes, but i do have them, as well he cut of the part of the rear of the car where the tail pipes come out of the car, and i will say that i do have them as well. The car in all means is a project car, but if you know what you are doing then it can be fixed. The frame and all the suspension parts under the car all seem to be ok, they are just covered in a little surface rust. The motor and transmission in the car has been in the car since 1967 without a doubt, but i do not know if they are original to the car. As far as the interior of the car, the door panels are their, they seem to just be missing the handles and arm rest. As far as the dash, the radio is the only thing that seems to be missing, but the rest of the dash is in really good shape. The car is showing just over 41K miles on it, and they seem to be the original miles on the car. I have no reason to believe other wise. As far as the convertible top goes, it all appears to be their and is in really good shape. Like i said before, what you see in the pictures is just what you get. The car is sold as is with no warrenty. Ebay said that you can not have mulitiple dates in the listing title. Nothing else was wrong so i have relisted the car with a lower reserve then i had before so that the car is more likely to sell. Note that the car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off ebay, this time for good, i hope!!!
