Up for auction is my 98 Chevy 1500 1/2 ton 2wd. My dad bought this truck new, and has been a daily driver from day one. Truck has the Vortec 4.3 V-6, 4L60E auto overdrive trans which was rebuilt about 3 years and 65000 miules ago. Its a pretty basic truck with cold a/c, tilt wheel, cruise controls(works great), intermittent wipers and cassette. Everything on the truck works as it should. New brakes and power steering pump in 8-2009. New tires in 1-2010, rough treads in the back, straight tread in the front. About 5000 miles on tires. Truck is rust free underneath. Only rust is surface rust at wheel wells and cab corners from living on a gravel road and the rock chips have worn off the paint. I have a quart of paint for it as I was going to paint the lower bopdy line down this summer, I hate to sell this but have way too many vehicles. I still drive this everyday when Im home. Never let me down. I'd drive this to California without thinking twice! Have a brand new Duramax sitting in the garage collecting dust. No tailgate, I took it off a few years ago and then it got put on another truck and then sold the truck with the gate. Bed has alot of the paint worn off the floor from sliding stuff in but no rust. I have a bedliner for it that you can have as well as an aluminum across the bed toolbox. Has a bumper hitch, I have a Reese style GM hitch you can have as well. I have no reserve so it went away with the first bid. Also I was asked if it needed anything. I did forget that the windshield is cracked. Its been that way for 3 or 4 years, it never bothered me enough to fix it and its not right in your line of sight. If someone wants to Buy It Now, I'll have it replaced. If the winning bidder wants it replaced before they get it, I'll have a brand new one put in for $125. I have a bunch more pics just been having trouble uploading them. I'm working on it though.
