Vehicle Detail
I have a barn find 1975 Honda CB750 Super Sport with only 6600 miles on it. I bought it without a title, but I do have a bill of sale from the previous owner, and records of the past owner, a new title shouldn't be hard to get, but it will be the buyers responsibility. I don't know the history of the bike, but I do know that it has very low miles, and runs great for it's age. I just cleaned the carbs, and did a quick detail, and it really cleaned up great. It shifts and runs through the gears very smoothly. From what I've read, the super sport is the cb750 to have, so here is your opportunity to own a little nostalgia. There are no dents in the tank, no rips in the seat, and very very little surface rust, I think with a little work, the little rust there is(which is mainly on the chrome)can easily be removed. When I say little rust, it is very little rust, I'm not trying to hide anything, no surprises for the buyer. The other things that I know are wrong is, it needs a battery, and it has a aftermarket starter button, and it needs a kickstand, it has the one that raises the back of the bike, but not the side lean stand. The kick stand bracket is broke off, so it will need to be welded, not a real big deal. Other than that, I think the bike is great for it's age, it could make a great cafe racer, or easily restored to its original condition. As you know these bikes are a hot thing right now, and this one would make for a great addition to your collection. If you have any questions, please email me, thanks and happy bidding. On Aug-08-10 at 11:27:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I JUST INSTALLED A BRAND NEW BATTERY ON 8/8On Aug-09-10 at 05:44:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that etched on the side of the forks is "Forking by Frank", which I found out is the guy to have your fork tubes built by, they've been doing forks for over 30 years.
