1984 Toyota Landcruiser BJ42 Diesel with Factory Power Steering and Factory 5 Speed - CLEAR NEVADA TITLE. I imported it from Canada 12 years ago and it was my daily driver for many years. I sold it and the got it back three years ago. I added a Turbo with a professonal kit from Australia and I was getting 30+MPG. This is a very rare vehicle. The Good News: It has factory power steering, factory five speed, 3B Diesel engine, turbo, soft top (missing hardware), aluminum wheels, frond disk brakes, rear jump seats (OEM), welded in rear seat out of a Suzuki that has integrated seat belts, diamond plating, winch bumper, rustless doors and rear ambulance doors. The Bad News: Rust - it has rust in all of the usual locations - front floors, rear deck, rear fender wells, firewall, hard top. The clutch is completely dead and I do not know the condition of the tranny. The engine turns over, has compression, but the prime pump is dead. It will not start at this time. You should be able to fix the prime pump and get it started. Delivery - it will need to be towed...I can help with getting it on a truck if you opt for delivery. I do have a tow bar that you can have, but it will need to be installed. Please ask lots of questions...come see it...come buy it...you don't see many of these here in the USA.On Aug-08-10 at 14:54:34 PDT, seller added the following information: Rust update - take a look at the new pics added...everyone wants to know more about rust - The frame has lots of surface rust, but I do not know of any problem areas. The drivers floor has holes, but is not Flintstones style - see pic. Passenger side is not rusted. There is a homemade steel bedliner in the whole back of the cruiser and the diamond plate covers all of the exterior steel. It is hard to tell what the condition of some of the bed/tub is. The rear channel is rotten and there are likely holes in the wheel wells and bed. The top has issues at the door attachments and the front kick panels need help - see pic. Where the top and door opening meet, there is alot of rust. The front fenders are Aluminum and i 'think' the steps are also. This truck body is totally driveable, but will require lots of work to make it ultra pretty. Fortunately, there are alot of chioces to fix these great cars! It was returned to me in lesser shape than when I had it. Someone may have tried to steal it, as the Steering Column has been partially disassembled. The door lock cylinder is missing from the Pass Door. I only know what it was before I sold it and what it looks like to me today. I want you to be happy with your very rare cruiser, but please be sure about what your buying. Ask questions and if in doubt...assume that part to be bad. I loved this cruiser and am sad to sell it. I don't have the time to restore it properly, but hopefully you do!
