Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for auction is a very interesting 1970 Opel GT. I recently picked this car out of a barn so I do not know much about it. The car has what appears to be a chevy small block 350 in it as well as a auto transmission. The engine appears to be pretty freshly built. The car starts without hesitation and does drive in all gears. The brakes appear weak and need a going through before car would be road worthy. The car is capable however of being driven onto a trailer. I have a clear title for this car and the odometer shows 21,100 miles. This car has a lot of potential and would really scream once complete. Interior Drivers and passengers floor do show some rust through (see pictures) and will need to be patched or replaced. I would not consider rust to be an overall concern as car generally seems solid, just the floor areas show rust through. Dash appears complete, dashboard does show some cracking, all gauges etc are there but I cannot guarantee any of them are working. Drivers seat needs to be recovered and new carpet/headliner would need to be put into car. All glass is good, there are some wiper marks on windshield. Exterior Body overall is pretty solid, there is however some bondo. Paint is poor and should be repainted. All lights are in working order. I have described the vehicles qualities to the best of my ability with honesty and integrity. I would strongly encourage you to come and see the car for yourself prior to bidding.
