Vehicle Detail
1965 Chevy Chevelle Deluxe. This car is being listed again because EBAY allowed an un-registered user hit the buy it now. Sorry for the inconvenience, I understand there were 50 people watching this car anticipating the final day. If you're an Un register user please DO NOT BID. A $60 non refundable deposit is required within 2 days of auction ending. Balance will be paid in cash on pickup. What this means, if you win the auction and for whatever reason you cannot go through with the transaction you are still required to pay $60 so I can relist the car, NO EXCEPTIONS or SAD STORIES. This car is PICK UP only. I will not deliver or ship. Car must be picked up within 2 weeks of auction ending. Car does not run. Car is located in New Hope, Alabama. I do not have a title for this car. Anything after 1975 only requires a bill of sale in Alabama. I'm listing this car ONCE , if it doesn't sell, I'll part it out and make even more $$. I just don't have time to fool with it right now. Now about the car. It's a 1965 Chevelle 4 door car with the original AL coded 194 CI 6 cylinder engine and auto transmission. The car shows about 105,000 miles. The car was running when it was parked back in 2002. It has not been started since. I know, I know it's a 4 door car BUT there are a lot of good parts on this car and some may be interchangeable with the 2 door version. The glass doesn't have any chips or breaks, the frame is solid, driver side fender, trunk, hood and doors are solid with no holes. Bumpers look good for re-chroming . Floor pans look good (as far as I can see) I did not pull up all the floor to see. All four hub-caps are present, and the dash looks good. It's not in the picture, but all the rear glass trim is present, it's sitting in the back seat. The frame alone on this car is worth the starting price. This car has potential. You could part out the car for profit. Use the parts on your 2 door Chevelle, or restore and make one bad sleeper grocery go getter. The sheet metal that has holes from rust are the trunk pan, passenger fender, both quarter panels , and the part between the trunk and bumper. Holes are small. The only parts that's are not salvageable is the battery pan and the part between the trunk and bumper. Seats all need recovered. I've tried to be as accurate as possible with the description, however it is a 45 year old car. I could have missed something. So look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding. All sales are final, no refund or returns. Thanks and good luck.
