Up for auction is a 1982 Corvette Collectors Edition. This car is a true survivor, a two owner California car. I purchased this car about two years ago from the original owner in San Diego. I was told the car had not been driven much in the past four years, and had only been serviced by local Chevrolet dealer since new. (I have receipts.) Odometer was 61,200. Car was transported in closed carrier to Illinois, I brought it to my local Corvette specialist, that services corvettes only for the last forty years. I found out the car was still 100% original right down to spark plugs, tires, and mufflers. He replaced gaskets on intake manifold, throttle bodies and valve covers. Installed new spark plugs, wires, cap, accel ignition coil, fuel filter, magnaflow mufflers,optima battery,K&N filters and good year gt tires. (have receipts) Car runs, drives, and shifts perfectly! No smoke or engine noises. The paint is original, the California sun has faded it some, but it still shines. The clear coat on the hood was buffed a little much in a couple of spots. You can see it in the sun, but its not terrible. Obviously, the car has never been hit, has rock chips in clear coat at bottom of front nose. No cracks in glass or fiberglass. Rims, T-tops, and interior are all in GREAT condition. Car comes with: T-top covers mini bra original California plate chrome cross flags plate three collectible cars and cases with original boxes and a framed 24x18 quality print of 1982 CE.
