Vehicle Detail
1989 Porsche 944S2 - great shape. all original body panels (all have original matching factory ID tags). Original paint is tired, starting to fade in areas - particularly the sunroof and tops of front fenders due to living in southern Cal most of it's life (been in northeast for about 2 years). ZERO rust, dings or other body problems - just needs a partial or full spray of paint to be perfect. runs like a dream - starts right up no matter how long it sits. I would drive it cross country in a heartbeat. No oil leaks interior is very nice, dash has cracks but has a properly colored cap. needs new shift boot. Carpets and seats all in good shape - no typical drivers bolster wear through. has the little things that people strip out and try to sell seperate that seem small but add up, like tool kit, air compressor, manuals . . . new: tires (225/50 and 205/55 on boxster 16" wheels) fuel pump check valve fuel filter oil change oil filter plugs fuel pressure regulator O2 sensor battery ALL belts (timing, balance, alternator, PS) hatch and hood lift struts wipers The only thing no working is the A/C - everything works and converted to r134, but not charged yet. This is a fantastic car. I'm only selling because I've been overseas for 2 of the last 3 years with the army and hate to see it just sitting. (I have a boxster S that is getting most of the drive time). Take a look at the Autocheck score above (79 with a normal range of 55 and below). It has only been driven about 3k miles in the last 8 years. I'm a 20 year PCA member who has owned 944, 944S, 944S2, and 944 turbos (in addition to boxster and boxster S, 914s, 911T, 911SC, 996 C4, . . . ) If sale price goes over $6k, I will include a short shift kit and pair of new motor mounts that I haven't had time to install yet.
