I am the original owner. Bought from Iron Horse in Tucson and ridden across the USA a couple times and now kept in PA. Light weight, yet handles high speed touring and canyon carving. A great city commuter bike, too. Shiny paint with very few tiny imperfections and virtually no chrome to polish. Tires have less than 2K on them. Battery is a maintainance free style new in Jul 09, All oils and fluids changed, plug and valve adjustment about 2K ago. Hermy's BMW has done the majority of work since coming to PA. The bike has never been down or fallen over when parked. Never any sort of damage from an accident. It is all original and straight. Has ABS brakes, heated grips, GS hand guards, Throttlemeister cruise control bar weights, bars raised 1" and slightly to rear with removeable bar-backs. Power outlet installed on top triple clamp. Kisan Signal Minder installed, but it is disconnected as I did not like the effect on turn signal operation. Techlusion professionally installed to eliminate any fuel injection surging. Seems to do the job for me. Aftermarket center stand is installed and makes some service work easier. Gets 65 to over 70 mpg when touring and about 50 to 55 mpg in city commuting on regular grade gas, not premium. Has the optional hard case keyed to match ignition key in the faux tank. All original three piece soft luggage and original windshield included. Vario windshield installed and it works wonders for its compact size. Standard height seat with no wear showing. I have a 29" inseam and can flat foot the bike when stopped. GIVI rear rack is installed and it is very much more sturdy than the plastic rack that came with the bike. Sorry, but that original part is not included. The only existing mechancial issue is a slightly loose wire at the low beam headlight which I have just not gotten fixed yet. It does not have any effect on riding and it won't prevent riding safely. The emission can was removed before I took delivery by the dealer in 03 for purely cosmetic reasons. It could be replaced if your state requires it. I can assist if you need shipping as I have shipped bikes previously for myself and when I sold a bike along the way. I have seen many of these listed at what I consider to be high prices. This ought to be a real deal for someone who would love to get into riding BMW's without spending their life savings.
