Vehicle Detail

Welcome to the best deal on Ebay, a beautiful 1982 Jaguar XJ6 with a Chevy 350 Engine. To find a Jaguar conversion with a Chevy Engine is rare, especially one that looks so hot, and runs so well! The British racing green color looks great and is very shiny. I bought this car on Ebay less than a year ago, and I was told by a very honest and reliable seller that Dale Earnhardt's mechanic did the conversion to a Chevy Engine, but he could not prove this. However, I believe it! The odomoter says 86,000, but in reality the vehicle has over 125,000 miles. I replaced the entire dashboard and all the gauges, and the new odomoter says 85,000 now, instead of 125,000. Let me give you the honest numbers:I bought this car and had it shipped for $4,000 totalI have put about $5,000 into the car in the last 6 months to make it look and run amazingly well!I am moving to Las Vegas and cannot take the car with me, so somebody is gonna get a sweet deal! I have redone the entire front end, including shocks, suspension, ball joints, bearings, bushings, trunk cables, hood cables, fuel lines, replaced the gas tank, dash pad, center console, interior Jaguar emblem, and many other things. (I have mechanics invoices for these.) I have replaced the starter, alternator, battery, all the belts, neutral safety switch, and practically every other little thing you can imagine. My mechanic has also rewired much of the car's electrical system to make almost everything function well, but there are a few VERY MINOR problems to mention:1) The passenger side window does not go down. (No big deal at all, in my opinion)2) The sun roof only opens partially and needs to be shined up. (No big deal at all, in my opinion) I have put Pioneer CD/Am/Fm Stereo System in, brand new, and it sounds great! The car starts up immediately in all weather, and runs great. The A/C and Heater both work pretty good, but of course not as amazing as a 2010 Honda! (But what would you really rather drive?) I have brand new Jaguar emblem floormats in the car, bought on EBAY a few months ago. It is extremely fast and smooth and reliable! Yes, a Jag that is reliable! And, when things go wrong, most repairs are cheap, since it has a Chevy 350 engine and transmission. THIS IS A HUGE ADVANTAGE!! Occasionally, you will have to fix a wire here and there, so it helps if you have a mechanic who understands electrical systems.(For instance, it would cost me $100 to have the windows that don't work fixed, but hopefully it will cost you $50!) I love this car, and you will too. However, I want to be clear that you will occasionally still need a good mechanic to fix things here and there when they pop up, since it is a 1982 car! My point here is that you need to be a bit realistic -- It will never be as perfectly reliable every single day as a 2010 car, but it sure looks better and is much cooler and is still extremely reliable. The car passed inspection, no problem, and is currently registered in NY. I have the title. I drive the car almost every day, and am sad to sell it, but my sadness will lead to your great fortune! A Jag with a Chevy Engine for under $10,000!!!! And this conversion was probably done by Dale Earnhardt's mechanic! The best Jaguar conversion money can buy, for an amazing price! Happy shopping...
