Hello, up for auction is a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee in great condition. I have drove this vehicle now for over 5 years with little to no problems until 2 weeks ago. To the best of our knowledge it has thrown a rod in the engine, therefore needs another engine. Other than the engine this vehicle is in great shape. The only rust visible on the Jeep is on the hood edge as you can see in the pictures. There is a small bend in the drivers door panel, seen in pictures, that happened when we trailered it home after the engine malfunction. The rear wiper does not work and neither does the CD player but both are easy fixes. The interior is in excellent shape as well, I had seat covers on the entire time I owned it. I had the transmission serviced just last year by our local Jeep dealer and they said that it was in excellent condition for it's age, better than most that they see for a Jeep of it's age. The four wheel drive system works excellent and I've never had any troubles with it ever. The tires and brakes were put on less than a year ago and both are in good shape. There is no battery in this vehicle as I needed it for my replacement vehicle. The only real reason that I am listing this due to the long downtime of having the engine replaced. I needed another vehicle right away so we decided to purchase another and sell this one. The Jeep would make a great project vehicle or a great starter vehicle for somebody who has the time/money to replace the engine. I have a clear title for this Jeep.
