I purchased this car from an estate. It had been in storage for 45 years. I have replaced universal joints and carrier bearing, new pinion seal, fabricated new dual exhaust, new front shocks, new idler arm, all new steel brake lines, new rear brake hardware, fabricated disc brakes in front, front and rear coil springs, new pertronix igniter kit, replaced maniford with 4 barrel new carb, installed new master cylinder and power booster, new wheels (had to go to 15 inch for disc brakes) and tires, all new hoses, belts, plug wiring, anything that was dry-rotted. Interior was redone this past fall not original but looks great! Most invoices and documention of work goes with car. Over 25000 invested. ready to cruise and have fun with. Had one repaint sometime prior to my receiving. not a show car but gets lots of looks, runs great with original 370 engine and 42082 original miles. Old parts and wheels/tires go with car. selling due to retirement and health costs. ONLY PROBLEM IS OVERHEATING, HAVE REPLACED WATER PUMP, THEMOSTAT, DOING FLUSH OF COOLING SYSTEM NOW, IT MAY NEED RADIATOR REMOVED/REDONE TO SOLVE PROBLEM. I just install a mechanical temp gauge and it is going up to 210 degrees. I have a brand new underhood blanket with rods to be installed after underhood cleaned/painted.will include 2 new gallons anti freeze and couple cans underhood black spray paint. this car placed BEST OF SHOW at it's first car show.
