I'm selling my 2 door, 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit, 5 speed manual transmission, with 5 cylinder 2.5L in-line engine. I'm the original owner of this car. I purchased the car in October of 2007 at deMontrond Volkswagen in Houston. I love the car but I was recently given a company car and therefore I have no further need for this car. I'm a Non-smoker and I have no pets, clean car. I have the car title clear with no liens, ready to go. The car has recently installed new tires (Continental ContiProContact). The new tires have about 1,500 miles on them. The car has a full size spare (it is one of the original tires with limited thread but good for a spare). I have the valet key and the two remote keys that came with the car. The car was assembled at the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg, Germany. Features: -The car has 16" alloy wheels -The car has a factory mounted I-POD connector (keeps your I-POD charged and allows you to control it from the car's stereo) -The car has tinted windows Condition: Condition of this car both mechanically and aesthetically is very good; However, the following body issues are hereby disclosed: -See Dent on front driver's side fender (see pictures) -See Dings on rear passenger quarter panel (see pictures) -Optional floor mats (Driver) is worn down and has a hole (the car's floor mat is in great condition, damage is only on the add-on floor mat). Maintenance: I have always done the maintenance myself as specified in the maintenance manual and I have always used Castrol Syntec 5-40W as recommended by VW and only genuine VW parts. Except for a few rare occasions, the car has always been fueled at Top-Tier gasoline retail stations, see http://www.toptiergas.com . -Spark plugs and Air Filter element were replaced at the 50,000 mile mark, other than that it has been oil changes and oil filters at recommended intervals. I have long time experience working in cars and I do not trust anyone else to work on my cars, this is why I do it myself. Shipping, Payment, and Terms: USA buyers only.
