Selling my Jeep Scrambler. I just bought it, but a restaurant ownership came available and I must sell all of my toys to raise the money. This thing gets looks anywhere I drive it. It has been a ground up restoration, a lot of small details like greasable spring eyes etc. It has the following: 1983 CJ-8 with the following modifications: GM Ram Jet 350 fuel injected crate motor rated at 350 hp and 400 lb/ft of torque (less than 1500 miles on engine since install) NV4500 5 speed manual (same mileage as engine/installed at same time) Dana 300 transfer case 4.56 gears True Trac front and Detroit Locker rear 5" Rubicon suspension lift with 2" body lift House of Color Platinum paint Diamond plate dash and door panels Bestop TrailMax AquaSport seats Hardtop 35" Mud Terrains mounted on aluminium 15" wheels/matching spare mounted on bed mounted rack The tires are in okay shape, the tires/wheels that came after the build up were sold by the previous owner and he has installed what looks to be new wheels, with some used 35" tires. The tread is good,puncture resistant sidewall is a little cracked from time. There are no dents, dings or rust. If I were to get it show ready, the bedliner in the bed is peeling in a couple of spots. It does have a sunroof. There are a lot of items that I am missing. If it doesn't sell, I'll go a different route for the cash, because this Jeep is special, and definitely a keeper. The speedodometer shows 1500 miles, that's what is on the drivetrain.
