Up for auction is my baby. My 89(last year for the square 2 door body) Toyota 4Runner. I hate to sell this but have no time for it. Its got about 184000 miles on the body and about 65000 on the engine. The only rust looks way worse than it actually is. There is some rust around the wheel wells that the previous original owner had bondoed over to pass WV inspection. It had minor pin holes that he covered up. The passenger side I started to sand down to start fixing it and got sidetracked. The front cross piece of the frame has some rust but the rest of the frame and underside of the truck is perfect. In summer of 2008 it blew a head gasket and I had a used engine with 64000 miles put in it. At the same time I had them install a new starter, clutch, HD radiator, fan clutch, water pump, complete tune up and install a new exhaust with a turbo muffler. The torsion bars are turned up and has a helper leaf spring in the rear. A/c worked before new engine was installed and was never recharged, top doesnt leak and I used to take it off in the summers. I went to pick it up and the battery was dead and its been sitting in my yard since. I'll stick a new battery in it before auction ends. Winning bidder will have the option to purchase a solid front and rear axle set with and extra transfer case to make it a 4 speed transfer case for an additional $1000. Also included will be a front axle gusset, original front and rear leaf springs to go with axle, extra trans crossmember and a new 3 inch lift kit. So I am listing it as a possible rod knock on one cylinder. Motor has 65000 miles on it, so it could be re-bearinged.
