You will be bidding on one of the very few high quality (steel wide body) “Porsche 911 Speedster” tribute cars built from a 1986 Porsche 911 convertible. Car mechanicals are as original factory spec. This car was built in California, purchased and owned by the “Ray Carr Automotive Foundation” of Exton, PA. Raymond Carr was a “true car enthusiast” and holds multiple “Guinness Book of World Records”. I believe 5 related to automotive. I purchased the car in 2005 with 35,533 original miles. It has been serviced every 2,500 miles (Mobil 1 15-50). I have all receipts since taking ownership. Current miles are 44,056. Car is kept in climate controlled garage and well cared for, not a “garage queen”, but driven regularly. All maintenance has been performed by Lufteknic in Richmond, VA. I am a current “PCA” member, and I care for my vehicles. I have enjoyed this car and improving on its drivability and performance. Mechanically this car needs nothing for years of collector/weekend pleasure. Since I am 6’2” tall, I removed sun visors for line of sight, I have and can install before purchase. Once you see it and drive it you will be pleased, it is a great car to enjoy and be “seen in”. Reason for sale is funds to complete 930 race car projects. Please note for CA buyers: Car still has original emission label in engine bay under lid. Car could be converted back to CA emissions standards. Car currently set up for VA emissions and is reg. and inspected as such. Car is for sale locally, seller reserves the right to end auction early. I am re-listing with "salvage" in title listing area because of those rules! I have attached a CLEAN CARFAX report done on 11/2007 in photos (PLEASE NOTE DIFFERENCE OF 1990 DATE- Autocheck & CARFAX).
