Vehicle Detail
For sale is an original 1967 Lincoln Continental with suicide doors. This is a turn-key classic car that is ready for the next car show or parade. It has a 462 cu in. V-8 automatic that runs and shifts smooth with no knocks or misses. The car has been garaged for over the last 10 years and has come out only periodically during the spring and summer to keep everything running and cleaned up. This is a nice car that runs well and is in good overall shape for its age. It’s perfect for someone who is not looking for a project car, but interested in doing some simple updates and maintenance to it. Below is additional detail about the car: · Everything on the car is in working condition with the exception of the power windows (they actually work, but were disconnected by the previous owner and I just never bothered to reconnect), the starter solenoid (just recently went bad and I haven’t had a chance to replace yet -a $15 part that is easy to replace – I just by pass to start the car) and the A/C runs, but needs recharged. · All the interior and exterior lights, power antenna, radio, 8-track, speakers, heater, wipers, turn signals, and power seats all work. · There are no known radiator or oil leaks. · The front and back seats still have the original seat covers on them and there are no rips in the seats or to the roofs interior. · The car has new mufflers, universal joints, tires, brake lines, exhaust gaskets, manifold, distributor cap, and was just timed. · The car’s chrome is in excellent shape and has no rust. The car’s body and paint is in good shape, but does have some minor wear on the front and minor bubbling paint and two small rust spots around the rear fenders. Included in the sale are the original Sales Brochure, Owner’s Manual, two Shop Manuals, and some receipts of past work done to the car.
