1971 Ford F-100 Standard cab, long bed, 302 V-8, with aftermarket air-conditioning (currently not working, a/c clutch does not engage) aftermarket running boards, and an aftermarket sunroof. The previous owner stated that they had replaced the original engine with a crate 302 several years ago, but I am unsure when or at what mileage.Truck runs and drives, although the engine is running rough (I believe that it is running rich; carb adjustment?), and brakes need to be bled. Excellent candidate for restoration, as the body is straight with minimal dings/rust. Front cab corner mounts are rusted (apparently fairly common to this model, with parts available through JC Whitney). Rust is noted on tailgate, drivers front fender, drivers side wheel well (box), hood hinge mount, and under floor mat.We used this truck for several years while building our house, and just don't use it anymore. I just don't have time to give it a proper restoration, and have too many other projects to work on. I am not a mechanic, but have tried to give all the information I have on this truck. Because of the brakes needing to be bled and the engine running rich ( plus several of the tires appear to be the original bias tires and have weather cracks), pick-up with a trailer is advised.
