Clean Carfax! We are selling this SUV as a Wholesale Unit. We traded this Jeep in at a local new car dealership. It passed VA State Safety Inspection. We have decided to Wholesale this SUV because of the Overall Condition. I do not consider this an excellent condition Jeep. I consider this an Average Condition Vehicle and have Priced it Accordingly. If you have realistic expectations you will be very pleasantly surprised. Since trading this Jeep in, we have performed multiple services. I affectionately say that I have, driven the kinks out. Upon initial mechanical inspection, we had a new cooling fan motor installed, new thermostat installed, and some coolant line replaced. This was all recommended by the shop. Then, after driving it a few times, I noticed that the AC was not as icey cold as I thought it should be so I took it in for a full AC service. They replaced the AC Compressor and the ac line. All in toll, we have had about $1,000 worth of service done on this Jeep. So, mechanically, this Jeep is in great condition. This SUV is Practical and Comfortable! The Exterior is a shiny Silverstone Metallic Color. The paint is all in good condition. There is no fading or areas of damage. The clear coat is all shiny. This combines with a Set of 16" Factory Alloy Wheels for Sharp Curb Appeal. The exterior is a combination of Silver and Dark Gray that Looks Great! Molded lower body panels iconic of the Grand Cherokee combine with Black Door Handles, Dark Window Tint, Black Front and Rear Bumpers and an Adjustable Roof Rack for a tough and sporty look. The Exterior of this Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is loaded with features that you would find in most luxury SUVs. The commanding road presence of this Jeep is fantastic. You will find the exterior condition to be consistent with the year and slightly better than I would expect for the mileage. You will not find any significant body damage issues and no indications of paint or body work. The front grill is shiny chrome and looks great. This accents the iconic Jeep badging, including JEEP on the hood, Grand Cherokee on each side, Jeep and 4x4 on the rear hatch. Laredo is recess molded into each side door lower body panel for a little extra curb appeal. Exterior Features are Abundant. This Grand Cherokee Features: Roof Rack, Alloy Wheels, Keyless Entry, and More! There is 1 key with 1 remote key fob. I do not find the owner’s manual anywhere inside this Jeep. Exterior Upgrades Continue with the Dark Tinted Windows. Protecting Passengers, Items, and the Interior Itself, the Tint also looks Fantastic. I love these dark tinted windows, and so do children. The dark tint keeps them happier and quieter. The rear hatch opens as one solid piece or with the window alone and Features Rear Wiper and Defrost. This rear hatch opening as one solid piece is a great feature, you can stand right next to the bumper when you are loading or unloading cargo. Also you can pop open the rear window and let large items hang out the back, or how about your best little dog friend, Fido can chill in the back with the breeze flowing. The rear bumper has non skid to make getting in and out easier and safer. This Hatch opens up to the spacious rear cargo area. Back here, you fill find more extras and surprises. Under mounted in the floor is a full size spare tire. There are also two storage cubbies integrated into both driver and passenger sides of the cargo area. One side has a net and the other is a solid plastic cubby. The spare tire is recessed mounted in the rear cargo area. Even with the back seats up, you will find plenty of cargo area. The high roof and squared off rear end allows for a lot of stuff to be tossed in the back. We actually packed up 4 girls with a week's work of clothing, shoes, accessories, hair products, etc for a road trip in a Jeep identical to this one. Even with all our stuff and snacks, we still have room for a shopping stop at an outlet mall. Wow! One feature I notice every time I use the cargo area in this Jeep are on the Headrests of the back seat. When you flip and fold these seats down to maximize cargo area, the headrests flip down with the easy push of one button. No more have to remove the headrest and find a place to store them when you have the rear cargo area in full use. I just love this improvement over older Jeeps and other vehicles. You will find this SUV to be in overall Good condition. The overall stance, color, and add ons make for a fantastic SUV! This Jeep Grand Cherokee is riding on a set of Upgraded Alloy Wheels and Tires. We did not install these tires on this Jeep, but they do appear to be in very good condition, and I estimate as relatively new. They just passed VA State Safety Inspection and should be good for years to come! You may notice that this Jeep does not have a tow hitch. Now, before you dismiss this as a bad thing, keep in mind, that an SUV without a towing package is a good thing. You can buy this SUV with the confidence that it has not been bogged down with too much weight. You know this Jeep has not been put under the strain of towing large items. There are some minor imperfections in the body of this SUV, normal minor door dings but nothing significant. Overall, the Exterior looks Good considering the age and mileage of this SUV. Overall, the Exterior of this SUV is in Good Condition. There are some normal dings, however, nothing out of normal for a 2001 model suv. Interior: The Interior of this truck is in Okay to Good Condition. As a Jeep Grand Cherokee you will find this SUV to be Loaded Up with tons of Options! From Front to Back, Top to Bottom, Surprises Surround! The interior of this Jeep is a combination of Gray, Black and Stainless Trim. You will find Soft Sport Cloth Seats, Matching Carpets, Combination Gray and Black Dash with Accent Trim Pieces. The seats and interior are in good condition. The seats show very little wear. This is better than what I would expect with this year vehicle. The seats are free from any rips, holes, or burn marks. In years of being in the auto industry, I continue to be impressed with how well the interior of Jeeps hold up. This Grand Cherokee Laredo does have a little bolster wear on the driver’s seat, left side, but it is not that bad, just a little usual wear. Both Driver and Passenger Seats are high back captain style seats that are Multi Point Adjustable. The seats are all firm and comfortable. There are 2 front adjustable height shoulder belts and 2 Rear Adjustable Height Shoulder Belts. There are 2 Front and 2 Rear Adjustable Height Head Rests. The back seat is a split bench. It will hold three more passengers for a total of 5 in this Jeep. The rear seats are in great condition and sit very comfortable. The rear headrests quickly and easily fold down when the rear seats are flipped down for cargo space. The rear is a flip and fold split bench. The flip able rear seat increases cargo space and versatility. The rear seat splits into two sections and thus can be folded down in two separate sections so you can customize the cargo area. There is a Factory Jack mounted under the rear seat. There is a tilt steering wheel. It features Soft Gray carpet that is in Good condition. You will notice a stain in the rear cargo area and one behind the front seat. But they are modest and pale yellow color so they don’t stick out too much. Otherwise, the carpets are in pretty good condition without any rips, holes, or burn marks. The Luxury inside of this Jeep Continues with All Power Options! There is a remote keyless entry key fob. There is Cruise Control with Steering Wheel Controls. This Grand Cherokee Has a Sound System with In Dash CD Player, Cassette, Radio and Equalizer. The Front Dash has Two additional AC Power Sources, Radio Head Unit, and Climate Control. Overhead you will find Multi Function Digital Driver's Information Computer. This Computer Displays items such as Outside Temperature, Average and Instant Miles Per Gallon, Direction Traveling and More! The inside of this Jeep Still smells good with no funny or obnoxious odors anywhere in this truck. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and do not think this Jeep has been smoked in before. This super easy to drive Automatic Transmission Features Overdrive. You can turn the overdrive off when towing or hauling. The gear shifter is located on the center console and the OD on / off switch is on the side of this shifter. The Audio system in this Jeep Standard System. Included with this Option: In Dash CD, Cassette and AM FM Radio. The Audio system is controlled by the front dash head unit. There is an EQ on the head unit. This radio comes with 5 Radio Preset buttons for quick, easy, and safe channel surfing. This Jeep has Keyless Entry, Power Windows (with child lock safety), Power Door Locks, Power Exterior Side View Mirrors, and Cruise Control. Features continue with intermittent front wind shield wipers and rear window wiper with defrost. The Front Console has storage galore. There are 2 Front Cup Holders, molded to accommodate several cup sizes, Center Armrest with Deep Storage and contoured media and change storage, and Large Glove Box. There are 2 front cigarette lighters/ac power sources with what appears to be an unused ashtray. There are 3 passenger entry handles and two garment hooks for hanging clothes. Overhead there are two front passenger lights and one overhead cargo light. The Rear Cargo Area is Super Convenient! The Rear is a Full Lift. This means you can, with one hand, lift the entire hatch up. This makes loading and unloading cargo so easy as you don't have to reach over a tailgate, you get to stand right next to the bumper. Or the other option is to only open the rear window. This is convenient for having extra long cargo or even toting around your pets. The Cargo area Features: Rear Carpet, Tie Hooks, and More! Driving Impressions: We have driven this SUV around town and on the highway and it drives great. The alignment is straight and true and brakes have no pulsating. We don’t know of anything wrong with this vehicle. Mechanically, we have done some work to this Jeep. We had a cooling fan replaced. I noticed that the fan stuck off one time for just a few moments, so I had it replaced. Plus the ac was not working when we got this Jeep. The shop told me I could have just temporarily fixed the issue and the ac would work for a few weeks. Instead, we opted to replace the ac compressor and fix the ac permanently. The Carfax shows a minor accident backing 2001 on this Jeep. When we got this Jeep, it did have a little ding on the front driver‘s side, but we spent $75 and had it fixed. It was a very minor dint and has been fixed so buy this Jeep with confidence.
