Vehicle Detail

Original born with numbers matching 325 HP 396 Big Block RS SS manual 3 speed. The car was restored many years ago, very very straight. No visible signs of panel replacement, Lacquer paint with lots of chips, no dings or dents. I had the engine rebuilt to factory specs, original carb, heads ect. It was not decked so as to preserve the original engine pad stampings, no restamping bullcrap. The interior is original and in good condition. Manual top, glass is clear and top is in very nice condition. Manual brakes and power steering. Lots of power, runs excellent. The car was originally Granada Gold and would have had a blacked out tailpan, it was my hope to restore it to the original color. The hideaway headlamps work correctly as does everything except the fuel gauge. The floor pans are all original and to be honest it deserves a full floor replacement, There are NO HOLES, it is just soft in a few spots. it doesn't make sense to me to patch it although it could easily be done, I just installed a full floor in a 68 vert and it looks great. All other metal is rust free original GM. I am being to hard on the car but I want to be honest, the floors are actually pretty good. The trunk floor is solid, there is a little surface rust from condensation under the rubber mat (which I threw in the trash and strongly advise everyone to do) there could be some bondo where the tank straps are welded underneath, I just noticed it last weekend. The 12 bolt rear is not original, it would have originally had a radius rod. The floor still has the original radius rod reinforcement plate and I do have a radius rod and a correct 12 bolt rear with the radius rod bracket available if someone is interested in purchasing. This is a $40K to $50K car all day long with restoration. Right now it is an above average driver.I will not answer any questions regarding the reserve. I crawled under the car today and was suprised to find a .50c sized hole in the drivers toeboard. I just want to be clear there is at least one hole in the floor.
