if you are looking to restore a 71 malibu or just want a good driver here is your car. this is a southern car with little rust repair needed. we purchased this car as a project but dont have the time. the body on this car is not perfect but it has no secrets. there is no shoddy rust repair just some filler in the pass quarter from an early dent. the floors are good as are the rockers and fenders. there is small bubbling from surface rust in some spots but car is pretty solid. the engine is a 400 small block with edelbrock intake and long tube headers, thats all i know, we have not started the car but last owner said ran when parked 12 mo. ago. the trans is a 5-speed from 80s-90s camaro. there is no pedals in the car yet. the interior can be fixed for driver quality but needs replacing for show. there is a new dash overlay that is included with the car. the wheels are rallys and look like 8"s. our loss is your gane so feel free to come buy and check it out if you like in valdese nc. call 828 443-5363 with questions.if you have a feedback score is lower than 10 contact us or we will cancel your bid, we have had to relist a third time because of nonpaying bidders. also remember this car has been sitting and although it is solid it needs work, interior is there but not very good, engine has not run in a year and i dont have time to play with it, consider it bad and if its not than a bonus for you. this is a great car to be sent north where these cars are rotted away and tipicly need more work than they are worth.again if you want to drive this car it will take work.
