Up for auction is a rare and amazing 1981 FERRARI 512i Berlinetta Boxer keonig specials with 35,000 kilometers.It has undergone a comprehensive engine-out rebuild and transmission rebuilt to the tone of over$35k.All receipts total $52k in service performed with in the last 600 miles.The rebuild service included the trans axle, clutch, starter, alternator, timing belts, tensioners and all engine internals.As well all trans internals. This is likely the only keonig twin turbo 512 bbi in the country.It also has a fresh paint.Keonig rates their twin turbo engine upgrades at over 600hp, making this one of the most powerful Ferrari's of its day.It still will out power most of today's super-car.This car run's excellent and transmission shift's butter smooth even from a cold start-very rare with older Ferrari's.The wheel are of racing style,(magnesium) 15" Nart's.It sport Pirelli p zero 225/50/15 in the front and 345/35/15 in the rear that are also new.This car has the full upgrade package that Keonig Specials offered to it"s Ferrari customers.Easily over $180k in upgrades,back in 1981. It still retains its original leather interior signifying how nice the car was prior to its paint and drive train rebuild.
