You are bidding on a 1966 Mustang Fastback that I have to sell due to a baby that's on the way. When I bought the car 3 years ago I immediately had the car chemically dipped, put on a rotisserie, and had a professional Mustang restorer replace all bad metal (floor pans from firewall to the trunk) on the car. This is a solid piece of steel, absolutely no rust exists on this car. You won't have to worry about doing any body work on this, you'll get what you pay for here. You might see other Fastbacks out there that might be altogether and cheaper, but after you remove the carpet and strip the rust off, you'll spend thousands more replacing the metal . You just don't find a Mustang out there that doesn't need major body work after 44 years of oxidization. With this car you won't have to worry about it, the difficult work has been done, you have a clean canvas to start from. The suspension has been totally rebuilt with a Shelby drop, with front disc brakes. Magnum 500 rims. The rear end has also been rebuilt with a new Posi Trac lock differential. It also has a Shelby Steering Box. There is just too much to list here. In a nut shell, what you'll need to finish this car is front and back glass, turn signals, lights, wiring harness, bumpers and a paint job. The two front seats also need to be reupholstered, the folding back seat is in good shape.
