Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1978 Suzuki RM 125 vintage dirt bike. NO RESERVE ! I do not know much about this bike, but I can tell you that it does runs and ride good. I've ridden it around my property and pasture several times, and it's a little screamer. It has a 6 speed trans. It is complete, minus the side panels, front number plate and original tank. The original take apparently developed a crack at the petcock and was thrown away long ago. It now has an old Kawasaki KX80 tank on it that was painted yellow long ago and zip tied to the frame so it could be ridden. According to NADA values and description, this bike is between fair ($500) and good ($1,375) condition. This is no show bike, but a great starter vintage bike that you can ride while you restore it. Parts and plastics are readily available online at www.vintage-suzuki.com or several other online vintage motocross sources. Look at the pictures for condition. The fenders are cracked and in need of replacement, and the frame and other parts are dirty and have chipped paint. But because all the important original stuff is there, it would make for an easy restoration project. No title, sold on a bill of sale only. Frame VIN: RM125 79400 Engine VIN: RM125 79911 As far as I could tell, the engine in the bike is the original motor. If you have any questions, please email me and ask before bidding. Bike must be picked up at my house in Midlothian, TX unless you arrange shipping. I also wanted to add that both of the tires are in nice shape. And I was told that the brakes were replaced just before parking it several years ago, and they do seem to work good. The clutch also works well and it shifts through all the gears just fine.
