This 2002 Audi AllRoad Wagon is Just Beautiful and Amazing! Introduced in 2001, the All Road Wagon is a new Kind of Car! With the comfort and ease of everyday sedan driving, interior space of a station wagon and all wheel drive and available ground clearance that rivals most SUVs, this All Road Audi is the Perfect Vehicle! This Audi was traded in on the purchase of a new car at a Local New Car Dealership. This car looks Beautiful! This is the kind of car that a lot of new car dealership would usually keep to retail themselves, but I talked the manager into selling it to me instead. So, this showroom ready car is ready to be yours! This 2 owner car was obviously well maintained and loved by the owner. The body is clean and straight, I believe this to be a garage kept sedan. This car is in above average to excellent condition. One of the most unique and valuable features on this All Road is the Adjustable Height Suspension. An electronic air suspension adjusts ground clearance from a maximum of 8.2 inches (for offroad excursions) to a minimum of 5.6 inches (for swift highway cruising). At its greatest height, the Allroad Quattro has more clearance than some car-based SUVs, including the BMW X5, and is equal to that of the truck-based Land Rover Discovery Series II. No worries about the dependability of this Suspension, We just had the Air Ride Suspension Totally Inspected and it needs no service! All the air bags have been inspected and tested and function perfectly! So, buy this Audi with confidence! Overall, this Audi is in Beautiful Condition! Interior: The Interior of this Audi Allroad Quattro All Wheel Drive Wagon is Amazing! It has so many Options, Upgrades, and Simply Well Thought Out and Useful Options that it will be difficult for me to list them all; but allow me to try. The Interior of this Audi is a Lovely Combination of Gray, Black, and Wood Grain with Tasteful Chrome Accents. The seats are upholstered in a very cool and unique two tone, Dark Gray and Lighter Gray interior. The two tone leather is in excellent condition! The middles of the seats is the lighter color and the outer edges are the darker color. The Leather is still Soft. You will find that the seats show no wear. The carpeting is a matching black with matching floor mats. The Leather Steering Wheel is in good condition and features Audio Controls The steering wheel is also manual telescoping and tilt for added driving comfort. The gear shifter is also leather and in great condition. The dash is a combination of matching gray and black with wood train and chrome accents. The dash and doors have a dark wood grain accents with tasteful touch of chrome. Chrome adds appeal to the door handles, vent levers, and with the iconic Audi four ring symbol on the dash. The interior of this car is a wonderful combination of color and upgrades that is classy. Riding in this car offers a huge sense of pride and accomplishment. The dash and door are accented in matching wood trim. Wood grain trim on the doors, center console and the dashboard adds a touch of warmth. The interior is in Excellent/Above Average Condition! I see only normal wear that you would get with a vehicle of this age. Everything is in great working order. Power Upgrades In This Audi A6 Seem Unlimited! There is a Fully Power Sunroof with Retractable Sun Shade. You can open the Glass entirely to let the Sun and Breeze Flow In, You Can Vent The Sunroof For A Little Air Flow, Or You Can Just Slide the Shade Back To Let The Sun Shine In! This Sunroof is controlled by a dial conveniently located overhead near the front reading lights. Both front seats feature 6 Way Heat Settings, are Multi Point Power Adjustable, and both have 3 Memory Presets. Power Features Continue with Dual Heated and Power Front Seats, The Driver and Passenger Seat You can adjust the seats 8 ways with the power controls on the side of each seat. Plus, there are also power lumbar that adjust 4 ways, too. Both have 3 Pre Set Memory Settings. These settings remember and automatically set the Door Mirrors and the Climate Control Temperature Settings. The front and rear seats have 6 way, multi temperature heated front seats. Both front seats and each side of the rear bench, have 6 heat settings for added comfort. The rear seat is a very comfortable bench seat. This seat will accommodate 3 more riders, for a total passengers in the car total. You will also find the rear seat is heated. The rear heated seat is controlled by a right and left side control dial, and each side has individual heat settings of 1-6 for each side. The controls for the rear heated seat are on the back of the center console. There is also an AC power source and ac/heat vents on the back of this center console, too. There is a flip down center arm rest in the back seat, too. From this arm rest is a factory first aid kit. Another nice feature to this rear bench seat is that there are 3 shoulder belts, one for each passenger. This is a nice safety upgrade so that all 3 rear passengers have a shoulder belt, no one get just a lap belt. Overhead you will find Homelink Garage Door Openers on the Driver’s Visor. You can open and close up to 3 Garage doors from the convenience of your car seat. No more bulky and ugly garage door openers cluttering up your can and making dents on your visor. Control your garage entry and exit with ease! There are dual lighted vanity mirrors. I really like the design of these mirrors. They have covers on both sides to keep the mirrors clean when not in use. Plus, the lights only come on when or if you open the cover to use the mirror. This means that if you are using the visor just for shade, the light does not come on, the light only comes on when you are using the mirrors. Power Options Also Include a Dual Zone, Digital Climate Control System. Independently, Front Passengers Can Control and Set Their Temperature Controls. You Can Set the Digital Climate Control to a Specific Temperature, or you can manually over ride this and set the fan and temperature manually! There are All Power Convenience Features Such As Power Windows. In true upgraded fashion, All 4 windows are 1 Touch Power Down. There are also child lock protection for all passenger windows. There is Keyless Entry. This Key will Lock and Un Lock All Doors Plus Pop Open the rear trunk. Revisions for the 2002 model make the inside of the car even more comfortable and impressive. Audi buyers expect elegance in the passenger seating, and they get it. This Audi has comfortable seating for 5 adults. There is Wood trim on the doors, center console and dashboard to add a touch of warmth. New door seals and thicker window glass keeps the cabin even quieter than before. Drive with Comfort and Ease with an Automatic Transmission, Speed Control aka Cruise Control, Digital Climate Control with Dual Zones for Front Passengers, and Steering Wheel Controls for radio controls. Power Controls continue with the Exterior Side View Mirrors which are power adjustable and power folding. If you park in a tight area, are going through a carwash, or just want to play with the controls, from the comfort of your seat, you can fold in both exterior side view mirrors. Entertainment System: This Audi A6 Wagon has a Fully Loaded Entertainment System! The radio is a Factory Upgraded Bose System with Aftermarket Pioneer Navigation, DVD, CD, XM, Sirius, I-pod and AM FM Radio Head-unit. So, the Upgraded Speakers, Amplifier, and Head Unit all combine for amazing sound quality! Even with the Windows Down and Sunroof Open, The Radio is Crisp, Clear, and Easy to Hear. The Radio Features RDS so it displays the name of the Station, Song Playing and Artist Playing. The Gauge Display Area Houses a Special Surprise! Right in the middle of the center display, where the speedometer is located, is a center Digital Display. This display shows numerous items and is designed to allow the driver more heads up driving safety. This Display also shows the exterior temperature, the gear the transmission is in, and driver information such as miles to empty! The rear view mirror has a digital compass. Storage: This Audi is Loaded with Storage Options. Both General Space realized from the Practical Full Size Sedan Combines with Innovative Design to add in more Subtle Yet Practical storage options. First, A Wagon Adds Space. The additional space from the practical design of the rear cargo area and Flip down rear seats allows for more items, larger items, and taller items inside the rear cargo area. The rear Bench Seat offers several surprises. The center arm rest in the rear bench seat folds down for rear passenger riding comfort, but it is also practical. From inside this flip down armrest is a Factory First Aid Kit. This rear bench seat also is a 70/30 split bench. This rear seat flips down in two sections to accommodate larger items. More subtle storage is through out this Audi A6! The Wagon if full of storage surprises. My favorite are in the passenger door pockets. All four doors have storage pockets, the front driver door and the front passenger doors have 2 and two rear doors have one. These pockets actually pull out from the door for increased room and easier sorting and removing of your items inside. These door pockets are hard plastic. You will find that each of the rear doors have an integrated ashtray, both appear un-used. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and smell no linger odor and I would say this is a non-smokers car. The Front Glove box is lighted and lockable. There are also storage net pockets on the rear of each of the front seats for stashing more items. CARGO AREA: In the rear cargo area, you will find lots of space for cargo. This area is carpeted and also includes an Audi cargo mat. This heavy duty mat is designed and contoured to fit this space and protect the carpet. The cargo hooks are still easily accessible and usable. There is a recessed AC power source in the cargo area. I really like the design of this power source since it will store neatly out of the way if not in use. There is a factory pet divider. This is a retractable net to keep your four legged friends in their designated area. Exterior: The exterior of this Audi A6 Luxury Sedan is just as nice as the interior. So, again, you are looking at an Above Average Condition for a 2002 model, Proud to Drive, Sporty Wagon! I Can't Say It Enough, this car looks Fantastic! The outside is a classy combination of Black Paint with Gray Trim, Factory Upgraded 17” Alloy Wheels, Front Fog Lights, and Overall Nice Condition. If you have realistic expectations, you will be thrilled with this Audi. The exterior of this Audi is in great condition! The exterior is a combination of Black paint and dark gray (I would call black as well) trim. Further exterior accents continue with chrome trim. You will find this wagon to have an awesome exterior appear. The paint color is deep, shiny Black. The windows are dark tinted black to continue the sleek and consistent look of this wagon. Chrome accents are from headlights t tailpipes, literally. The front grille has the iconic Audi Ring Symbol in chrome and the dual exhaust tips at the back are chrome. Chrome trim continues on the roof rack and around the Hatch trim. Dark Silver, more alloy silver than chrome looking, trim is on the bottom of each door. Dark Gray accents include the front and rear bumpers, and fender flares. The overall color combination looks great! The combination of black, dark gray, and chrome adds to the overall rugged and sport appeal of his Wagon. This Audi is riding on a set of 17” Factory Alloys with 225/55/R17 Michelin tires that just passed state inspection with no problem. These tires seem to be very new, and should have years of life left. I do notice a few minor scuffs on each wheel. The exterior is a Sharp and Classy Black Color. The paint is Shiny, Glossy, and in, again for a 2002 model, Great Condition! The paint is so shiny and glossy, I would definitely think this to be a garage kept car. The exterior of this Audi is set off aggressive and sporty lines. Strong body lines and lower panels set off the look of this wagon. This is not your average soccer mom wagon, this is an awesomely cool sports car! 2002 Marks several Improvements to the Exterior of this Audi. Updating for 2002 includes a new front end and headlights, new body side moldings, and a revised rear end. The grille is now extended to the bottom of the hood, and the outside mirrors are bigger. Subtle Chrome colored accents dress up the front grill with the iconic Audi 4 ring emblem, 2.7 Quattro and A6 dress up the exterior of the rear hatch. A Chrome colored accent trim surrounds the passenger windows. Silver Alloy continues on the 17" Alloy Wheels. I do notice some light scuffing on each of the four wheels, but nothing to o significant. The rear window has defrost, but also the two rear side windows have defrost too, a great upgrade! The only issues on the outside of this Audi to note are some minor scuffs on the fender flare on the rear passenger side. This is relatively minor and I mention it because it is difficult to show in the pictures. Driving Impressions: The driving impressions of this Audi are much like the First Impressions, WOW! I cannot believe how smooth this car drives. Honestly, Audis are some of the quickest and smoothest driving cars I have ever had the honor of driving. The transmission is so smooth that you don't even feel the shift pattern, not even when passing another vehicle. The Engine is strong and smooth. The brakes are all firm with no pulsating, the Alignment is Straight and True. There is nothing wrong with this car, it drives like a new car! I cannot say anything wrong about how this car drives. My only word of caution is to watch your driving. This car is so fun and sporty, you have to be careful not to get a ticket! This A6 offers an abundance of safety features. Side-impact airbags are standard for the front seats. Curtain-type airbags deploy along the side windows during side-impact collisions to protect the heads and upper bodies of all outboard passengers. Antilock brakes are also standard. Driving this Audi is a sensation of substance. Steering response is quick and precise. You could hardly ask for more in comfort or anything beyond the A6’s smooth yet tautly secure rides. Quietness is hard to beat. Overall, this is a super road car that also excels in performance. Under the Hood: This Audi A6 has a 2.7 Turbo V6 DOHC Engine with 250 HP. The 163 cubic inch motor produces 250 hp at 5,800 rpm, 258 lbs-ft of torque at 31,8500 rpm. With the power and impressive specs, it still gets upwards of 21 miles per gallon. But really, if you drive a car like this why would you care about gas mileage. Well, you shouldn’t. Speed sensitive steering is noticeable and quite convenient in this car. You will find that parking lot driving is easy and effortless, but as speed increase, so does the taunghtness of the wheel. As you accelerate, and I really notice this at about 40-45 miles per hour, the steering adjusts to a more sensitive and less effort demanding range. Overall, the Allroad is a super road car that also excels in performance. Because the engine is quiet, you don’t keep listening for a shift to occur. Steering response is quick and precise. A person could hardly ask for more than the A6’s smooth yet tautly secure ride. Its quietness is hard to beat!
