A gentlemen purchased from a collector of MG's who bought and took the MG out of state only to bring it back one year later, the owner before him was also a MGB enthusiast, judge of concourses collector of MG's who had shown the car in the Sacramento Ca. area. You may know this car ? The Car and Motor :  - Original padded dash is straight with no tears or splits, the Original LE thick tightly stitched leather original steering wheel, the smaller sized steering wheel  is great to wheel this car when driving on tight turns - The gauges are in working order as is the clock, the heater fan, the 3 wiper blades, turn signals and stop lights and head lights, and interior light and gauge lights and all gauges,  the oil gauge reads a little over 50 lbs. at idle.  - The motor starts right up with NO smoke and the valves are quiet, you can feel the power and torque in this original motor with less around 57,000  miles, Original transmission shifts smooth up and down threw 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5  - Over sized radiator is original with duel fans that is v8 qualified keeps this 4 cylinder cool.  - The car has it's original spare and jack with covers and the original MGB red record book that came with the car - MG was fitted with a high quality Pioneer Stereo CD player with quality speakers.  - Convertible top is original as is the tonneau cover which needs some stitching or replacement - The 1/2 cover that is behind the seats to cover the top when the top is down looks close to new, the seats are original and have been repaired in different spots, the door panels are tight with no sags in near excellent shape.  - The rug and the floor mats are there and in good shape (took mats out to show how clean the floors are in factory original condition, no rust at all , ask questions please if you need more info or pictures. The Body:  Paint and body are original the MG has 1 small dent in need of repair in a very easy front access area , and a few small dings, the sheet metal next to the wing window on the passenger side has a 3mm split, the MG has NO rot or rusted cancer areas threw out this car, the body is sound and has no other past repairs to it, the floor board, trunk, motor compartment are clean and original, please contact us to see the car if you are in the area. The Flaws: The MG flaws have been pointed out (see pictures): small dent in front and side, small blemishes to the paint, and some very small cosmetic things. Please contact me before bidding if you have any questions, I will answer them in a timely matter, as stated the paint is original as is the interior. I have dropped the price down $1000.00 from the price I paid in 2006, which I feel is a fair price for this model and year which are fetching an average of $7,500 to 15,000 on up.The ending price will be sold to the highest bidder AS IS who meets the reserve.  You are invited to come inspect , by appointment, before the end of the auction.  Car is sold on an "as is, where is" basis without warranty. VIEW ALL PICTURES HERE!!!                                                                                 On Jul-14-10 at 21:19:23 PDT, seller added the following information: I tried to hide a couple wires today for aesthetics, and it seems the RPM guage, Clock and Gas guage are flickering on and off every once in a while. This is most likely a minor issue of a electrical connection that I may have shifted a bit when I tried to hide the wires near the stirring wheel. Just wanted to note everything and keep this ad accurate. Once again, not a major problem..... Best luck with Bidding!
