This is a 1997 Jaguar XK8 with a 300HP all aluminum engine and auto transmission. The car has 88,000 original miles and runs and drives great. Interior is black leather and is in very good condition with no cracks, rips or tears. The carpet if very nice with almost no wear. The front seats have some wear but are not torn or ripped. The glass on the car is good; however the windows need to be electronically reset: On xk's the windows move down half an inch when the door handle is depressed and goes back up half an inch when the door closes for a better seal around the door. On this Jag the windows go down the half inch but the only go back up if you press the up button on the door. Should be an easy fix. The steering wheel electronically telescopes when you put the key in. Somtimes it does not do this automatically and you have to manually depress the button to place the wheel to your liking. The only other flaw in the interior is that the headliner needs to be replaced as the fabric was drooping in spots and I got sick of it touching my head. I have an estimate of $225.00 to replace the cloth. The underlying sponge material is unaffected. The vehicle has an expensive aftermarket exhaust system. Timing belt, water pump and fuel pump have been replaced in the last five years. I have owned this vehicle for the last five years and it was my daily driver until the clear coat began to peel. This is a very nice car except for the paint. There are no dents, door dings or accidents. Gas mileage around town in 18 to 20 MPG. It gets better on long trips. The rims on the car are 17" Momos. The tires on the car are worn. The winniing bidder can have the pictured wheels and a set of very good condition tires for an additional $1300.00. This price is in addition to the winning bid. The wheels are Niche staggared 20" wheels. The fronts are 20X8s and the rears are 20X10s. The wheels come with a set of tires in very good condition. The fronts are 255/35/20 and have at least 65% tread. The rears are 285/30/20s: These rims have a mirror lip finish and were custom made for the Jaguar XK. I paid over $500.00 for each of the wheels less the tires. With these wheels on the XK it looks low and very agressive. The stance is very similar to that of my XKR shown in the back ground of one of the pictures. My XKR also has 20" wheels and the tire size is identical. If you dont want the wheels and tires you dont have to buy them. I can arrange shipping at your cost through contacts that I have.
