Up for sale is my personal 2001 Ford Taurus. It is super clean inside, and only has minor rust outside (see pictures) It is loaded with options: power windowspower lockspower drivers seatpower mirrorscruise controlFUNCTIONAL air conditioningAM/FM/CD playerThe bad stuff..... It has high miles. The check engine light is on. I had Auto Zone pull the engine codes, and they said it was an "engine misfire" code. As expected, the car runs a little rough at times. It runs rough primarily when its first started up, then smooths out a little after that. I don't know what's wrong with it, but I need a truck and its time for this car to go. The car is still drivable in every sense. It doesnt chug down the road making you wonder if its going to make it. It also has a small engine noise, that sounds like a lifter noise. If you can live with the fact that it doesn't run perfect, or if you have the resources to have it checked out, this will be a good way to get a cheap car. It has some surface rust on the LR quarter panel, and has some dings and paint imperfections. The good stuff..... The transmission was replaced last winter. The interior is super clean, and you would never know it has a 1/4 million miles on it. The front floor mats are only a few months old, and are original FORD mats. It is loaded with all the options, including CD player and power seat. The A/C compressor and power steering pump were replaced this summer, so the A/C works great and blows cold. The wheels are super clean as well, with no pitting or chipping. The car is located in Springboro Ohio, which is on the South side of Dayton. I will not ship or arrange for delivery of the vehicle, so local pickup will be required. there is no warranty on the vehicle, and it is being sold as is.
