NO RESERVE!!!! MUST SELL!!!!! 1986 Chevrolet Corvette, 85,200 original miles on the body, engine is a 358 cu. in. SBC and has less than 5 miles, transmission is also rebuilt. This is a G92 Corvette with performance suspension (newer coils and KYB shocks)and rear gears. It handles and performs very nicely, like a slot car. Clean NYS title. The car has been repainted red. Original color was beige and brown. Has a targa top. This car runs awesome and is a tire smoker! Pollution control smog pump is intact and working. Fuel injection system has been professionally removed and thus converted to carburetor. The car has a new in tank fuel pump rated at 45psi however because a carburetor cannot handle that pressure a Mallory fuel pressure regulator (MAA-4309) has been professionally plumbed in with a fuel line return to the tank. The regulator is fully adjustable. The motor runs awesome and is very, very strong and very powerful. A local engine rebuilder said it was producing a minimum of 325+hp. Engine is an L98 roller bored .040 with Keith Black Hyperutectic pistons and .250 dome (total 358 cubic inches) Rebuilt cylinder heads 3 angle valve job, new seals, milled and magnafluxed. Reconditioned rods, crankshaft and block with all new bearings, seals, rings, oil pump, balancer, flywheel, timing chain cover, aluminum water pump etc. Cam is a compcam 270 magnum, compcam double roller timing chain, pushrods and lifters. Intake is an Edelbrock Performer RPM topped with a Holley 600 cfm carb with electric choke, and a 2” chrome air cleaner on top. All new wires, Accel spark plugs, billet distributor with 50,000 volt coil and module Adjustable temperature electric fan (on/off 160 to 240) The car is otherwise 100% original except for the power plant and stereo. Tires are decent, rims are awesome and original, new mufflers, brakes are excellent, paint is fair and shiny. Some needs: Driver headlight motor Fog light on/off switch. Targa top is cracked (lexan plastic) Hood release cable mounting bracket is cracked (hood opens and closes fine but bracket is broke) The car needs only very minor stuff to be perfect.
