Vehicle Detail

1972 Ford Bronco Sport. This vehicle has been sitting in a warehouse in a private collection for a while. vehicle runs great and has lots of power. this truck is uncut and has almost no rust. transmission was recently rebuilt and carb was rebuilt recently also. I have been driving this truck for a couple of days and other than some minor problems associated with a 38 year old vehicle it has done great. Tires look great with almost new tread the 302 v8 runs great but a little cold natured so I will adjust the choke this week. The bad points are as follows very small dents in hood and front corner of hood, exhaust holder broken in rear, has jeep wheels but they look good, aux fuel tank has a leak from the sending unit and looks as if somebody tried to epoxy the fuel line, interior needs front seats recovered, and door panels to be nice, rubber mat in floor shows its age and appears to be original. radio does not work, knob labeled emergency is broken, I don't believe the wooden steering wheel is factory though it says ford, front fenders are fiberglass and I also don't believe this is factory, the trim around the grill is missing and the left side is bent slightly and appears to have some bondo in the bottom pf the grill though it doesn't show until you get close this the only place i have found any body filler at all. the top is immaculate and doesn't look like it has been removed much the rear seat is in perfect shape. the keys are original. the drivers door sticks sometimes when opening from the out side. all glass is perfect. I found two very small rust spots, one in under the pass front where the toe board meets the floor board and one in small spot where the bed floor meets the rear seat plate I guess is what you would call it. electric wipers work and even has the headliner in the top and sunvisors are in good shape. There is a skid plate missing from under the transfer case probably was left off after trans was rebuilt. 4wheel drive operates fine. The shifter may need an adjustment as 1st gear is sometimes hard to find with out wiggling the shifter and I will try to get it adjusted this week. the body an top are uncut and the nicest of an unrestored truck I have ever seen. It is listed locally and will end auction if it sells. If you have any other questions call 832-882-3698 David thanks for looking.
