I purchased this car several years ago with the goal of restoring and returning it to its past glory. We pulled this car out of barn in Richmond, VA, loaded it on a trailer and hauled it back to Roanoke, VA. Why am I selling this car? Unfortunately with a growing family and increased responsibilities at work I do not have the time to dedicate toward this project. What have I done to this car since my purchase? My goal initially was to get the car running and make it street legal (signals, lights, etc.) At this point I believe this has been accomplished but I would not recommend driving this car across the country, it is a local cruiser. Repairs made see below: New plugs, wires, distributor, points, condenser New starter Replacement Fuel Pump (Bosch- not the short can version, short can will be included with the car but the winding is shorted to ground) Gas tank was removed flushed and cleaned, fuel lines blown out Fuel filter replaced, inline pre-filter inserted between tank and pump Oil filter and oil change Air filter replaced Battery replaced What needs repair on this car? First of all the main concern is the rust. There is rust on the car and several pans will need to be replaced. Please view the pictures I have tried to document this issue with photos of the car without the carpet. Fuel sending unit needs to replaced the resistance wire is broken. Car will need to be repainted and appointments will need to be addressed There are several minor issues with the car, such as air intake hose and some molding clips that will need to be replaced.
