Relive the summer of Peace and Love with this original orange bus. I bought it last summer after 14 years of storage. Here is a list of what I had to do to get it running: (I have labor and parts receipts). NEW: cold start injector ($200), all rubber fuel lines, plugs and wires, injector seal kits, dist. cap, points, brake shoes and wheel cylinders plus turned drums, rear, $270 heater box (see photo). Michelin tires have about half the tread left. While driving "Jerry Garcia" this spring, I blew a rod so there is a hole in the block. I am selling it as a parts vehicle at what I think is a reasonable reserve - or - swap engines or replace block and you'll have a great camper for very little money. What I took out to put in another camper: Bench seat and frame, rear deck cushion, rear closet, ice box. Jerry lived in MN all his life so I had many holes for Bondo although no deck rust through. Solid driver and passenger floors (see photos). Sliding door needs far left hanger to make it operable. I have original owner's manual, tools, jack. Sink is hand pump and nice hammock over passenger area for Fido or kid(s). A very clean camper with many miles of joy to follow if you are the winning bidder; or part it out and sell on eBay, earning much more than you will buy it for. Hope to hear from you soon.
