This 1941 Truck has been in the family for decades. The latest rework ws a body off customization a few years ago. Less than 7,000 miles have been put on this truck since the redo. I have identified one paint flaw on the hood, other than that the paint is in great condition. This truck was built to be a very powerful daily driver, or a Saturday night cruiser. The sound is awesome, with headers, turbo's and a four pipe chrome tipped outlet system. The cam is mild with just the right amount of loping at idle. The wheels are steel spoke with solid oak inserts mounted. The running boards are solid oak with a full fiberglass support bottom to keep the wood lasting forever. The engine started it's life as a small block 400. Patton Racing Engines in Hemet, California pushed it out to about 409, with enough compression and fuel supply to get the engine up to 300+ HP. The 400 block with a stock cooling system had a tendency to run hot. In order to avoid this, I put an aluminum top tank high flow radiator and electric fan on it. I have sat at a stoplight in Phoenix at 110 degrees outside, with the AC on and the engine never got over 195 degrees. The suspension is set fairly loose for a smooth ride, but with air shocks, the back can handle some load if you wanted it to. This is an unusual truck that gets a lot of attention at the cruise nights that I have taken it to.
