Vehicle Detail

THIS MAY BE THE MOST ORIGINAL 1983 FORD MUSTANG GLX CONVERTIBLE ON THE PLANET AND IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION RELISTED BECAUSE SOMEONE HIT BUY IT NOW AND SAID IT WAS BY MISTAKE? This 15,000 mile beauty is almost 100% original. The only items not original when new are the heater core, battery, fuel pump, engine oil and filter and front struts & rear shocks. I have the original struts and shocks. Also carburator had to be rebuilt because car sat for long periods but it still has all of the original markings. Every thing else is original to the car when new including the Michelin 220/55R/390 TRX tires and wheels. The big news for 1983 was the availability of the convertible for first time since 1973. Ford outsourced the convertible to Cars & Concepts, which received coupes from the factory and returned them as convertibles. More big news was the return of horsepower. A 5.0L V-8 was an option, and it produced 175 hp the most available since 1973. Several options first appeared in 1983, the 5-speed T-5 as a midyear change, the four-barrel Holly carburetor, and 3.27:1 gears in all V-8 Mustangs. The taillights were revised in 1983, and the Ford blue oval would grace the Mustang for the first time ever, and was placed in the grille and on the deck lid. This car is in absolute excellent condition. There is no rust on this car. It had rust proofing done when it was new. The original owner had it till 2008 and sold it to a broker whom I purchased it from. I have the window sticker and owners manual that came with the car new. This car has almost every option you could get in 1983 and sold for over $15,000. Car still has most of the original factory stampings under the hood and in the trunk. Please review all photo's to verify condition. Car will be available for personnel inspection by appointment. Car is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses. Car will be available for pick up after payment has cleared. Title to vehicle may take up to two weeks to deliver. If you have questions please ask before you bid.
