Vehicle Detail
This is a 1949 Ford Coupe. I purchased it from the original purchasing family. It has just over 38K miles on it. Since the day it was originally purchased it has been an Albuquerque car. This Coupe is rust free, no dents(there are a few small dings and the driver's fender emblem is dented but not the fender), a true survivor. This is not a show car. It is not restored. The engine purrs like a kitten. It needs a new battery, passenger side waterpump(recently started leaking from the shaft) and a new exhaust crossover pipe. The registration and insurance have always been kept current. There are still oil change stickers on the door jambs from decades ago. The factory markings are still on the firewall. There is a small tear in the headliner near the rear window. the seat covers were removed by me on the day I took the pictures. At some point the exterior was repainted and needs to be buffed out. I do not drive this car to prevent it from getting hit. The pictures I believe reveal how nice this car is. It is available for your inspection. Please email me if you have any questions and I will answer them to the best of my knowledge. On Jul-13-10 at 17:44:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I pulled the car out of storage today for an inspection. In the far corner next to the rocker panels on each front fender there is an ~2 sq inch piece with minor bubbling in the paint. i apologize for not seeing this before. The inner and outer rockers are still rust free. It is a small spot. I have already spoke to the people who have contacted me with high bids.
