Hello again. I need to sell my wagon because I am going back to Wisconsin. This car has been a great family vehicle. Everything works! It was owned by a German engineer in Redwood City. He owned it for many years and did all the repairs and maintenance himself. Even the self leveling shocks work. Nice Michelin tyres, nice interior, fair overall condition cosmetically. I have the third row seat which was unique for a few of these European models and the chrome roof rack! It really is a lovely car and it cruises beautifully along the freeways. It easily goes up any hill in San Francisco. The transmission was rebuilt and the compressor replaced within the last 2 years. Engine works very well. Sounds just like my other car with 100000 miles less. If you want to enjoy a family wagon that gets 350 miles per tank; than come bid on this winner! The car just cruises very nicely along the freeway at 80. No problems whatsoever. I just changed oil and filter too. Nothing leaks and never overheats.The car runs between 60 - 80 centigrade on average. Also, I just spent $300 having the windshield carefully removed and replaced with a new rubber weatherstrip. The wagon can accomodate a lot of interior space when you fold the rear bench seats forward. Very practical and comfortable vehicle for Los Angeles for commuting and driving in traffic. I also had the driver seat refurbished. It is no longer soft and spongy like a lot of the others. It feels like a new seat with support. Moon roof does not leak and is lovely to open on warm days. I had the car beautifully detailed and the paint just shines. No accidents ever! Bid on me with confidence!
