1993 Olds Cutlass Convertible w/low mileage and no reserve. Could be a daily driver or restored for what will soon be a classic convertible. This car was taken off of the road in 2005 and has been under a cover in my driveway since. It was my brother's who recieved a company car and had no need for 2 cars. He thought my teenage son would want it as his first car. He doesn't and will use the proceeds from this sale towards the car he wants. I have taken many pictures in an attempt to show all. Here is what I know. The car was a daily driver right up to the time it was placed in my driveway. It has been on a trickle charger. I added gas and it starts up immediately and runs smooth. All fluids look clean. I have no idea what mechanical concerns there may be from a vehicle sitting for this period of time. The cover did not keep all moisture out and there was some mold spots on the interior. This all wiped off and the seats have not tears or noticeable wear. They are the most comfortable car seats I have ever sat in. The moisture and heat under the car cover did a number on the window tinting. This has been peeled off and a glue reside remains. I have not tried but expect this will wipe off with GooGone or other product. There appears to be a trim piece missing from the overhead crossbar (see picture). All seat, dash, and stereo controls appear to work properly. The exterior is in fair to good condition. The paint is nice for its age with expected scratches, dings, and chips. There are a few dents (see pictures). These are on the front driver side fender, in front of the driver side door, and on the passenger rear panel. The bumpers show fading. The driver's door handle has broken off (pot metal). I have the piece and the mechanism still works fine. The interior hood release cable is broken. The hood releases from the front of the car. The convertible top is in good condition with the exception of the rear window. The bottom of the window has seperated from the top and will need to be reattached to make it weathertite (see picture). The power top mechanism works but is stiff and needs a hand to go up and down. I expect this needs to be lubricated after sitting and lack of use. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is. Low mileage, low price, far from perfect. On Jul-08-10 at 10:47:16 PDT, seller added the following information: ***I double checked the engine and it is not the std. 3.1L V6. It is the optional 3.4L Twin Dual Cam V6. It also has the optional Anti-Lock Brakes.
