This was is my baby. My pet project that has been over a year in the making. I fell in love with 240's while in college in the late 80's. Took me until 2009 to decide I was going to get one and personalize it. This is the result. 1993 Volvo 244. Automatic transmission. 190,000 miles. I started by stripping her down to a shell for a total and complete repaint. This was done right. All doors, hood and trunk lid were removed as well as all glass. I also had them remove the ugly plastic lower molding and weld and fill the holes. They also installed a new front windshield and seal. When I got it back I installed all black trim and euro headlights and tail lights. Both bumper covers are brand new also. I gutted the interior and added neoprene sound deadener. I junked the old wore out seats and installed 2000 V70 leather front seats. Driver seat is full electric. Passenger is manual. I also had the rear seat recovered to match the front. The next step for me was all new suspension. EVERY piece of the suspension was upgraded. I replaced every bushing in the suspension with volvo OE bushings and IPD Poly bushings. I swapped the struts and shocks for Bilstein HD's. The springs, panhard bar and sway bars are all IPD aftermarket pieces. Wheels are old school SSR Reverse Mesh 2 piece and brand new. These wheels originally sold for $1200+ a set. The car rides incredibly well. In upgrading the car, I swapped the mechanical cooling fan for an electric fan assembly out of a volvo 940. It is done so well it looks like it came in the car. Also replaced both fuel pumps and replaced rotors and pads (brakes) in the front and rear so there wouldnt be problems down the road. The motor in the car is perfect running and doesnt drip at all. It starts right up every time. AC is cold and best of all, factory 134a. I also installed a Viper keyless entry and will include 2 key fobs. This car is done well and ready for somebody to love it. Paypal downpayment is non refundable.
