I am putting my 1974 triumph spitfire up for auction,due to a recent financial set back and i have to many vehicals.I bought this car 2 yrs ago in July..the motor was out of the car and was in the process of being rebuilt.i had engine rebuilt by our machinist ( i work part time for a locall NAPA dealer) It took almost a year to complete , but i cant complain because he did it free , the parts were all new and he reworked the head and honed the cylinders and polished the crank( new rings , bearingsand gaskets) i do have an intake manifold with carb but i believe that needs rebuilt,I also have a dual carb and manifold for it.I am not really sold on this set up so i was going to get a brand new carb and manifold for it at about 350.00, the body is in very solid and good condition,paint is also good but does have a couple of small blisters and scratches.Dash is not in very good shape as well as the top,allthough i was told it had been replaced a few years ago,the turn signals do not work i was told but i never looked into it.that is about all i know on this car, it kind of got left on the back burner and i really dont have the time or money to do anything with it.I do have an offer of 700.00 for it so there is where i will start.
