Up for auction is my 88 Formula 350. I have had this car for 6 years and bought iut from the original owner. He was an elderly man. 4 years ago I was driving along and the engine started to make a tapping noise. I tore it down to find a spun #8 rod bearing. I had Watson-Ruppel Performance in SE Ohio rebuil the engine completely. New forged pistons, balanced, ported the heads a little bit. Best of everything. I had $4600 in the rebuild. I got the engine set in and have never been able to make the time to get it running. Car has brand new Hooker headers, Slp y-pipe, K&N air filter and tons of new stuff I cant even think of. I paid $8200 for this when I bought it and have another $7000 at least in it. The car has 0 rust! Paint is a bit thin on the bumpers and the spoiler is weathered as they all get. Dont ask for anymore pics because I'm not moving all the crap around it to do so. Body is excellent, maybe a small ding or scratch in it but all very minor. Cars has pw, pdl, cruise, tilt, a/c(blew cold when parked), full gauges with 140MPH speedo and tach, floor shift, rear defrost, hardtop(no t-tops), headlights worked perfect. New NAPA battery, new Taylor plug wires, Hooker headers with head guards for plug wires, new distributor, new B&M 2800 stall lock up converter, new radiator, and a ton of other stuff I cant even think of. Interior is 100% perfect, no rips or tears in the seats, no cracks in the dash. I am building a new housxe and garage and would like to sell my non-running projects before I move my shop, if not I'll keep them. The pics make this look like a project and I do apologize but this is a sweet car that needs a few hours to be up and running. All it needs are plug wires hooked up, oil needs re-primed after sitting a few years, needs antifreeze, timing set, SLP(no cat) y-pipe needs installed and a piece from y-pipe to rest of exhaust(18 inches and about $20). Emissions system has been removed but I have all the original parts, has an air pump delete pulley as well, have front licinse plate bracket. Have stock torque converter. I just have way too many cars and not enought time. it kills me to sell this unfinished. I own an auto transport company and can help ship it to you.
