Chevy Blazer S-10 I bought this vehicle one year ago from my mechanic. It was his daughter's. I have put less than 10,000 miles on it. The engine has performed flawlessly then entire year. I took one 2000 mile trip; otherwise, I go out two or three times a week at most. The mechanic said he rebuilt the front end: axles and wheel bearings. Less than two months ago he replaced the rear brake rotors and pads. The tires have a lot of tread left. Mechanic bought new ones when he sold it. Power windows. Remote lock and unlock. Driver's power seat. Rear window defrost. The 4-wheel drive works great. I had no problem in heavy snows last winter. I couldn't get stuck if I tried. It has a CD player and cassette player and AM/FM radio. The "service engine" light has been on the entire year. I have had him hook it up three times and he always says the same thing. He put an after-market converter on so the light comes on. If I unhook the battery and rehook it, the light stays off for several miles. (Buyer is welcome to have this checked before final purchase.) The ABS light comes on occasionally and then goes off. Mechanic said it is likely a loose or faulty sensor. The air conditioning needs to be repaired. The rear wiper motor needs to be replaced. They cost about 50 bucks. The air bag light stays on. There is a small piece of plastic at rear bumper broken off (photo). There are no tears in the leather seats. But there is wear on the driver's seat. This is nice vehicle. I am leaving the country indefinitely or I would hold onto it. It's got a lot of miles left. It is fast and powerful.
