2002 Dinan BMW X5 E53 4.6is With BMW Navigation!! Here is an opportunity to own a truly amazing high performance SUV. This has been my personal car for the last 6 years and I am only the second owner. BMW blended the versatility of a luxury SUV with a host of true high performance upgrades. The engine is a 4.6 liter all aluminum V8. Stock the engine was rated at 340 horsepower and 340 FT Lbs of torque. 0 – 60 is 6.5 Seconds!! The Dinan air intake with the cold air inlet in conjunction with the Supersprint Exhaust adds approximately a conservative 27hp for a total of almost 370hp! The Dinan Front Strut Tower Brace improves rigidity at the strut towers for sharper handling and improved steering response. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum the surface features precision-machined ribs over extremely durable textured black powder coating. BMW gave the 4.6is a firm high performance active suspension coupled with massive 14 inch vented brakes. The stopping distance on this car is quite impressive! As good as many sports cars! Original sticker price on this BMW was over $77,000. This X5 has brand new Toyo Proxes ST II tires, brand new battery, freshly painted bumper cover and a recent oil change and tune up. The wheels on this BMW are almost PERFECT! The X5 had a comprehensive warranty up until 100k miles so, in my opinion, everything on this X5 has been maintained to the highest level. Always hand washed and garaged. I did not want my calipers to rust like they do on every other X5. The calipers on this X5 look fantastic! The Axxis Deluxe composite brake pads produce virtually no brake dust at all! Any brake dust that is produced wipes off easily. These are a must on any X5!! The Hoen ‘Xenonmatch’ running / high beam lights are a perfect match for the Xenon headlights. The OEM bulbs have a very pale yellow which does not look good. This X5 features 10.5 inch OEM BMW Type 87 rims on the rear wheels as well as the front. The rear also has wheel spacers. This setup gives this X5 exceptional handling and a very aggressive stance. The 10.5 inch rims are a great fit on the front with no issues. The Supersprint and the resonator delete give this X5 a wonderful rumble. The resonator is a ‘pre-muffler’ which is before the two mufflers. This X5 sounds like the true high performance vehicle that it is!! A resonator can easily be replaced if there is too much of an exhaust tone for the new owner. The roof rack and rear wiper delete were performed by a professional and add a unique and distinctive look. The gauge unit has been replaced by BMW due to pixels in the display ‘dying’. This is a common issue on any X5 and was a design fault by BMW. All X5’s should have this cluster replaced or you will have rather annoying dead pixels on your display. Ask any potential X5 seller if their X5 has any dead pixels. The BMW ‘M’ steering wheel is a big upgrade over the thin and not so good looking stock X5 steering wheel.
