Up for your Consideration is a 1971 Buick Rivera that is a good prospect for Restoration. This car was used as a “Trade In” and has a clear Florida Title. It was tagged and driven locally up until the day it was traded. Prospective Bidders are encouraged to ask any questions regarding this auction before bidding. A. The 455 Cubic Inch Engine starts easily, runs smoothly and is very strong... B. Tires are in satisfactory condition. C. Paint is in poor condition. Previous owner painted the car himself. Original paint was light blue. D. The seat upholstery is original but needs to be repaired and/or replaced. E. Carpet needs to be replaced. F. There are some rust but the floor is solid in places where I pulled the carpet up. G. One of the door handles is broken. H. Windshield has a crack in it. I. All functions of power train appear to be working satisfactorily. J. Headliner is intact but needs to be re-stitched or replaced. K. Hood has bad rust in the front. Doors have some rust. L. From what we see, the body is solid. The biggest problems are rust freckling on the chrome and the amateur paint and body work performed by the previous owner. M. The AC Compressor turns easily but hooked up to engine drive. N. The Dash has cracks and areas of deterioration. This car is being sold as is with no warranty expressed written or implied.
